The new School offers both before and after school programming. The Before School Program begins at 8:00 a.m. and runs until 9:00 a.m. weekdays. Students taking part in this program participate in cooperative games and outdoor play prior to the school day with a teacher for every ten students.
Students taking part in the New School's After School Program are interacting, creating, and conversing over fun and fascinating projects and games - not just waiting to go home.The nurturing and inspiring environment, with an enthusiastic teacher for every ten students, strives to provide creative experiences in group settings. 
The program runs weekdays,3:00-5:30 pm and is open to the public. Some of the features of the program are listed below:
- Gym and/or outdoor play activities
- Craft and cooperative game options
- Homework and/or silent reading time
